Two More Holiday Happenings

Friday, Dec. 1st: Holiday Parade
The Bike Happening has been entered into the Downtown Holiday Parade. This will be our 7th annual appearance. The parade theme is “Winter Wonderland.” The parade organizers ask that no one dresses as Santa Claus. More details to come…
Update:
We are entry #48 the “Bike Happening”.
Gather at the corner of Broad St. & Monterey St. before 7:00PM.
Decorate your bike and/or dress up for the holidays.
Anyone is welcome to join in.
A few rules:
1) We are not allowed to throw candy or anything to the crowd.
2) Do not ride in the staging area.
3) Do not dress up as Santa Claus. Santa suit, ok. Suit and beard, not ok.
Update #2: (dec. 29)
The Dollar Tree store has tons of great stuff right now:
Garland, Snow flakes, ornaments, elf hats, glittery stuff and much much more…
Five bucks goes a long long way to put your bike in the holiday spirit
Friday November 24th @ 9:30 AM: Downtown Santa Roll-out.
The Downtown Business Association has asked the Bike Happening to help escort Santa Claus to Santa’s House in the Mission Plaza. They would love to have Santa ridden in on a bicycle rickshaw and surrounded by bicycling elves.
We need to know ASAP if you are into the “Santa’s Roll-out” Please comment.
I need to contact the Downtown Business Ass. on Monday (Nov. 13) to let them know if there is enough interest to follow through with this concept.
